Somebody has been pulling up and REMOVING lilies in my Guerrilla comunity garden. Double and triple rats. Luckily so far only duplicates taken. Ones that I was growing on to donate to bulb sale down the road.
Unfortunately I also have awhole bed of new lilies there too. so....... am now picking every stem as they bloom. Have a wonderful horde of lilies all over the house.

So, am collecting pollen that I want but no back crosses this year.
Bother.
Think I'll move iris over there and plant special lilies in my house garden.
It is really sad actually, because in the fall I give bulbs to all who want them. Oh well.
Busy spreading 2 compost boxes to dig into !@#$ rotten clay that we have here. Supposed to be the last cool day. Supposed to get a heat wave for the next week, starting tomorrow.
