After thinking nothing was going to come up in the place I had hardy hibiscus & after looking at the bare spot I started watering the place where the hibiscus was. All the other hibiscus is over 2 foot tall & up come's the hibiscus.

I guess when you have a drought DON'T give up, I know hardy hibiscus are late comming up anyway But this is almost 1 & one half months late!!. Has anyone had this happen ???

I planted some of the burgundy leaf hibiscus and was about to give up on it. That was in May. Now they are coming up.
I think they like to wait for hot weather. Same for my celosias.
