When we were in Arizona we saw the ruins of other civilizations and I just find it all so amazing.

Tent Rocks had humans living there for 4000 years... really puts our short lives into view. Just stunning to think of all those who have come before us and all those who will come after.

We're hardly a blink in time.

Very true. Makes some of the problems we have in life really look small...

Same when you enter those Historic places of worship and see the years it took to build and the care to keep up... the dedication. There are so many lessons in the world out there if we only take a little time to think...

Wow MitchF,
It looks as if you took the exact photos that I took last September in New Mexico. We drove all thru Bandelier, Santa Fe, Taos and stayed in Espanola for 4 days as a central location for all points of travel. Did you get to climb the really high ladders up to the kiva at Bandelier? Phew....we made it to the top...straight up the ladders and were rewarded with a beautiful view. The drive to Taos from Santa Fe and Espanola was magnificent also.

We did not make it to the Kiva at Bandelier, wife was in a air cast so we made it to a lot. We did make it into the two Kivas at Pecos. Stunning area right?
