Kittymom, I think you and I are posting about the same lily. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/616392/

Your colors are better than mine, my camera rarely catches the true color.
Do you know the name of your lily?

Beautiful!

I think it is

Lilium Scheherazade

Got it from Parks in May 2003.

I don't think that is Scherazade. I'm guessing Caravan or American Heritage. Do either of those names sound familar? It's hard to tell the difference between the two.

Bartlesville, OK(Zone 6a)

Nope, don't know my lilies AT ALL.....LOL

Just went and looked at my gardening orders and found where I had ordered Scherazade and then looked at the website where I got it and it looked like that so that's what I said.

Here are a couple more pics from awhile ago.
BTW, it now smells wonderful. Guess it had to warm up.....

How about Altari???

I ordered that one from Wayside. their picture doesn't really look like mine, but the description sounds like it. Who knows, I love it!!!

Have you looked at Touch?

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

Could be 'Shocking', but there are several Orienpets in that color combination.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

Mine doesn't have nearly as much red as that picture of Scherazade has but it did come from Park's so maybe..........

Scherazade is supposed to be a re-bloomer; I'll have to see if mine does that. a

Meservey, IA(Zone 4b)

It looks a lot like this Caravan I got from the Lily Garden....Here is it blooming 2005.

All I have discovered is that there are a lot of lilies that look alike. How do the experts tell them apart??????
