We finally had a windless morning so I have pictures of some of my lilies. I didn't get any pictures of my Asiatics that I would want to show here (the pictures were all blurry because they sway in the wind). Anyway, this is a Trumpet Lily

GGGGGGRRRRRRRR. Well, that's what I get for ordering before checking Garden Watchdog *slaps forhead*.
Well, I dont know what kind of trumpet lily that is Beaker. Since Amethyst Temple is wrong, there's no telling.
I appreciate you pointing out that mine isnt AT. I dont know why I didnt realize that when I saw it. I guess I was just so excited to see them bloom after last nights storm. With all the hail we had, I expected that they would all be laying on the ground.

Not Blooming Bulb by any chance?
BTW, they are still beautiful and they probably smell heavenly. I'm a number of weeks away from seeing any trumpets.
Yup... Blooming Bulb and I've contacted them. They do smell wonderful. I'm glad at least they are white and that goes with everything :o)

Well, actually that is bad news for me. I had problems with Amaryllis and Tulips this year. The 3 Amaryllis I ordered, not one was true to name and I ended up with an all yellow tulip display this year. I planted some lilies last fall that I'm worried won't be what I ordered. I'm losing hope for them. I don;t understand how they can do this over and over. I know I'm not going to order from them anymore. It's a good thing they refund on all their mistakes.
Nah.... you're not dumb, I've gotten carried away in the excitement. It's been a frustrating year for me too, with getting wrong bulbs.
Just enjoy the beauties that they are. :)
I'm sorry to hear y'all are having the same problem. Well, I've learned my lesson for sure. I wont be buying from a company until I've checked Daves Watchdog first. I wonder if I should've waited until the orientals bloomed before writing Blooming Bulb. I seriously doubt they'll be right.
I cant tell you how much this just frosts me. The sort of language I would use isnt allowed here ;o) While I'm glad to know that they are good about refunding your money but I would prefer to get what I ordered! How hard can it be? How can you care so little about your reputation as a business? It's a real pity that they cant send the corrrect bulbs because they were so big, nice and healthy.

I had the same problem with them last year and they graciously sent the correct replacements last fall. It's not just them, the biggest and the best make mistakes too.
Language?? I'm surprised I didn't wilt a few flowers with what was coming out of my mouth. ;)
