oriental lily "golden stardust"

hello everyone! my name is kelly and i haven't posted on this board much. i frequent some of the other threads. i wanted to share my first bloom of "golden stardust" with you : ) my camera doesn't like yellow for some reason but this oriental is lovely. it is more yellow than the photo. the photo doesn't do it justice! this is a huge bloom!!!! i planted them last fall and have been so ready to see my first blooms! they are planted in a long line with tom pouce, purple sensation, casa blanca and a few others. this lily is very tall!

Nice! I also planted Golden Stardust but they haven't bloomed yet. Good to see some one else growing them.

when mine started to open it looked white with yellow streaks but by tonight the pictures are what is looked like. it didn't have a smell this morning but by this afternoon it did and ants were crawling all over it to get some of its nectar : ) good luck with yours! this year is my first year having orientals and i think i will have to have more lol.
