Ready To Try Messenger Again

Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

I've now had 5 blooms on the Blue Picotee that have been relatively normal with no splitting of the petals. I'm now waiting for a new bud to get to the I'm gonna open up tomorrow stage. Once that happens I will spray the plant with Messenger again. The pictures were taken this morning. Two blooms open at the same time. Quite a difference in the double.

I think it just takes some plants a while to produce the doubles.
Someone on the daylily forum told me that her double blooming daylily starts out with the tiny petals like your first one toward the center and then gradually the petals of the rest of the plant will start showing as doubles.
