Today, another Silk Road, love this lily!!!

Here is another silk road blooming, love those huge blooms and fantastic smell!!

Wow! That is stunning! Wish I had something like that! All my lilies so far have been orange, yellow or white. Of course, that is what you pretty much get from an assortment bag. Next year, I'll have to add some prettier colors...although the ones I have had this year have still been pretty.

rose, how long have you been growing that in the houston area. I planted several lilies this year. wonder if they will come back for me, I think they should. That's why I'm wondering about your experience growing them

Hi y'all, thanks for the compliments. Vossner it has only been in my garden for two years now, sorry actually three. I love the bloom, but you have to stake the plant, so I put mine through my arbor lattice for support! Such a big bloom on a skinny stalk!!! I have it planted in front of a rosebush. I don't have too much experience growing them, I just plant them and pray they come back up. Have you ever planted alliums like globemaster here in Texas? Mine never came up last year, I think something may have eaten them!!!! :(.
I just started a daylily addiction last year, and I am bad about the names, and my tags washed out, so I have to search for their names. YOu all have a great day!!!!
