terryr - those pics are cupplant.

I don't recall ever seeing black tips on culversroot. I also think that culversroot grows best in part shade. It have seen it growing in full sun but in very moist soil...wetlands. Usually, where I see it growing prolifically in nature is on a shady hillside with a seep.


I see it growing most in nature in moist meadows.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll move it after it flowers - it's in full sun and does dry out.

Hi all, I noticed this thread Baptisia and thought I would show a species that grows here, B. leucophaea or Long- bracted indigo. They do well in pots or containers as the roots are very shallow, unlike their cousins.
