I've got several Asians in bloom at one time...

That is beautiful, Bama. Are those the same asiatics that are fragrant? None of mine have any fragrance. :o(

Those are lovely! I'm also curious as to whether or not many Asiatics have any fragrance. That's a big draw for me!

If I get close I can smell fragrance, but I have a deviated spetum so my smeller doesn't work really well. I can be right on top of my lavender and not smell it unless my nose is buried in it. Same with my Four O'Clocks which smell like a cross between Honeysuckdle and Vanilla. But it doesn't do me any good unless I can bury my nose in it...darn it!

Hum...asiatics? Those look like they could be longiflorum with the trumpet shaped blooms. These weren't, by chance, former Easter Lilies were they? Generally, there aren't too many asiatics with a fragrance. However, there are some.

They were in a bag of Mixed Asian Lily bulbs. They look like Easter lilies to me, also...you know those bulb packages...they aren't always real picky about being accurate. Not sure about the fragrance...I can barely smell any of them...and when I am close enough to smell them, I can't tell which flowers it is coming from unless I literally stick my nose in each plant...and I can't get down there to do that without risking falling.

I don't doubt they have a fragrance. I would guess it is a longiflorum x of some kind. It is very pretty.
