First bloom

Look at my pretty flower! I just love the colors. Don't know which one it is though, for some reason I had it in my head that Tom Pouce was there, but this ain't him. LOL Whatever the name, it is a keeper!

Nope, that sure isn't him! Do you have names of other lilies that you've purchased? Have a look here ~ http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/607055/

I have been looking through pics in plant files and it is actually one of your pics that look the closest.

As for names, a friend gave me a few and could only remember the name of one, Tom Pouce.

I think that is a very real possibility ~ and just what I was thinking. The pistil and pollen appear to be identical (to my eyes anyway). Perhaps you could ask your friend if Royal Sunset rings a bell.

BTW ~ I love your name, it always makes me smile. :)

Yes, I will try that. Thanks.
Glad you like my name, it is well suited to my chubby self that likes to be in the dirt. :~)

OH that is a lovely lily!!!! I wish I could photograph my lilies so I could post them here but the wind keeps them moving so I just get a lily shaped blurr.

Thank you Kelly. :~)
Yes, the wind was blowing here when I took my pics too, I kept trying to wait till in between gusts to snap the pics, LOL, and even at that, the little brown thingies were jiggling all over.

My sister had the same lily in her garden. I did a painting of it for my MIL because she LOVES orange. I didn't capture it 100% as I was using watercolors and it was hard to get the colors to blend like I wanted them to....but it turned out pretty well.
