That's one you could see from a block away. How tall does it get for you?

Wow. What a jolt of color for these dull days!

Are pixies the earliest lilies to bloom? It seems like yours are really out of the gate for a 5b Illinois garden?

I wonder if they come in white?

Pixies are one of the earlies lilies to bloom, they are almost ready in my Z5a garden.

And yes, they come in white. Here's a vendor picture-

All the pixies spread enormously for me. In my garden they get about 18 inches, about 12 the first year. And they overwintered great in pots. Only problem they totally took over the pots, so I couln't fit anything else in.

That's a beautiful picture jmorth!!

Great! Thanks. Exactly what I need in the garden!

This view illustrates 3 clumps of Red Pixie.
Presently the garden has a total of 9 different lilies blooming; of the nine, 3 are in large containers.
The grouping to the right in the photo is appx. 4-5' long X 3' wide.
One clump's bud count was a hundred plus.

I have a deep red pixie blooming now. It has nice dark red freckles inside.
