I planted this seedling Cladrastis back in '99, and it finally decided to flower. Nothing like what I saw last May in the DC area, but still very nice. The flowers are mildly fragrant. It has put on about 2' of growth this year.

And here's Cladrastis 'Perkins Pink,' which was planted in 2004 and is much, much smaller than the species.

Nice pictures. My tree has also put on at least two feet of growth this year as well.
