Anyone received an order from Floral & Hardy?
It would appear that my above-mentioned Outhouse Delight is NOT an OD. Sandy (Sanannie) said it didn't look like hers when she saw it last week; so I e-mailed photos to Betty who confirmed that it was mismarked. She will send me a free OD with my next order.
Now we are trying to identify the lovely Hosta I DID receive. Might be a Montana Mountain Snow. Hope it is because it was on my wish list after seeing it in Beechwood Cemetery last week. Betty has yet to confirm (too muddy to get into the Hosta field), but did write back that they are in the same row.

Yes, I think you would be right Cheryl. Confusion - when I got my order there was a copy of the page printed from her blog explaining how she wasn't going to sub for any more, as it took too much time. Why she included that for me I don't know as I had emailed her anyway and specified no subs. Then she proceeded to send me a sub for one of my heucheras. Two of my heucheras don't look like they will live. I think form her site info that they were dug on Friday and mailed on Monday, arriving Friday, wrapped in damp newspaper. Some of the leaves had a lot of rot on those two.
For the daylilies, I got less than half of the ones I ordered. I would be really cheezed if I had paid shipping charges for this order. Since she didn't charge shipping, being shorted is just annoying, because I can't order somehwere else this year, the one I really wanted . Having paid on my Mastercard back in Feb? I think she should charge us when she knows she has the product. I ordered from 5 other places this year and none shorted or subbed after they confirmed my order. I don't think I'll contact her unless the two heucheras die, but I'm not thrilled with my order, no.
She did send a refund check with the order.
I was just irritated to find out only when it arrived, that I wasn't getting what I'd paid for - I would have appreciated being told that so I could have picked my own choice of substitute, or as echoes says, order elsewhere in time to have some chance of bloom this year!
She did send me quite a bit of bonus DL in the box to make up for the original short, and I did get some DL I really liked in the second box,
so that's a positive.

My order had a questionnaire with it. Did you get one, fill it out and send it back? She needs to hear the feedback. I agree about being charged for the order in the middle of February before they know what is available. Hosta Choice didn't charge me until AFTER they'd been to the post office to find out exactly what shipping would cost.
