I almost hate to post this... I know this will turn out to be a weed. Does anyone know anything about this? It does look like an astilbe bloom... Kind of like goatsbeard... I have looked it up.... But it didn't say "Weed" LOL Still hoping.

That's Sorbaria sorbifolia. It's a great shrub for specific spots. It suckers like mad, so it has to be contained. I used it in spot that got mowed on both sides which kept it in check. I liked it. The blooms attract a vast array of insects. Makes a good short hedge.
