Do I deadhead my morning glory?

Midland, TX(Zone 7b)

I am a newbie to morning glories. I wintersowed my first ones this year. Should I be deadheading them?

Not if you want seeds. It may not be a bad idea though to deadhead for awhile until the plant matures a bit more. My Rose Mini-Bar taught me that you have to go through a few flowers before they get to peak form. In the picture, the flower on the left is one of the first ones. The flower on the right was taken a few days ago. There is a substantial difference.

From what I remember what Ron said in another tread, deadheading is not necessary on MG:s atleast regarding most of them. they put up new flowers and pods even if you dont.Well not pods if you deadheading.
I havent deadheaded mine and "Midninght Velvet" have gotten two mature seedpods already and have continued to flower. This is from Friday.
