I was going down I-65 today and kept noticing a shrub/small tree that had interesting flowers on it. I think I have it identified as Cyrilla racemiflora, or Titi. Does anyone have any experience growing this? The flowers kinda reminded me of Sourwood.

I don't grow it here, but I do know it needs to be kept very wet. Whenever I see it during trips down south it's in standing water, or adjacent to it. I'm bumping your thread back to the first page because surely someone down south has it and will comment when they see your question.

The places where I have seen it are not really wet. Moist maybe, but not wet. I may order a few this fall to experiment with.
