Gosh I'm not sure. I know she helped Jan save a baby bird on the phone for hours. And I am pretty sure she has many babies she is feeding around the clock. I'm sure you'll get it back soon !

I'm trying to catch up on all this Bingo goodie stuff, I just found it. I wish I had enough here to sponsor a month, but there's no way my little collection of 5 NOIDs could sponsor anything but a pity party. I also know I don't have time to hold the cards either, it'd take me too long to check to see if someone was a winner. I want to help tho if I'm going to participate. Sooooo, I've been thinking.

I'm still not clear on how everything works...but.....would this work?? For those of us who don't have a big enough collection to sponsor a month could we donate $5 (or whatever amount) to a "Gift Certificate Fund" to cover one month? Probably to cover the last month of Bingo. Or could we designate one of the prizes we've won to be donated to the Fund? I'm just trying to come up with ideas for those of us who want to help but don't have a lot of options.

Maybe Allison could hold the donated money for the Fund, since she started the Bingo...and all of us love and trust her. =^) Then, when it's all gathered she could get a Gift Certificate at Rob's or someplace that everyone (the donator's) think is best. If we can't agree on where is best we could take a vote. Prizes being designated to be re-given could just be held by whoever has them....unless postage costs would be too high and a problem for whoever wins.

If this is a bad idea just say so. You won't hurt my feelings, I appreciate honesty over politeness. I'm just trying to figure out how I can help. We'd have to see how many folks would be interested in doing this...there may not be enough people interested to cover a month. Anyone who wants to can d-mail me...even if they just want to tell me I've flipped my noodle. LOL!

Heather everyone is needed and welcome to play even if you never can hold cards or sponcor. Playing is important part of Bingo too :))
To hold the cards after you Dmail people back that you got them. You don't have much to do much checking until someone calls Bingo. If they win you only have one card to check 15 prizes does not take much time... But no one has to do this either !
If someone does not have 35 named African Violets and Gesneriads even add in Begonias if the Sponcor likes !, then they can just list 35 African Violets and Gesneriads names. And before the game starts post what the prize will be. It can be a book, gift cert. ( even people can go in on. ) , Suplies, something to do with African Violets and Gesneriads . And yes Gift Cert. is a fine prize !
You probaly missed this I think I posted about this in the thread about who would be interested in playing Bingo !
We really need at least ten people playing...but 20-30 people make it even more fun and interesting !
I love sponcoring and I have many plants to get to new good homes !

Yes she is supose to give you confirmation . I think she must be very busy . Anna where are you ! We miss you :)) I know she was printing them out.

HHMMM She Dmailed me Am on the 30 th. ok that was yesterday and she is Ok. Maybe her Dmail is not working ? I'll Dmail her and see.

I got my confirmation from Anna last night. She must be taking care of lots of babies! So sweet!

Yes she has been busy and her septic tank over flowed. Also she did not know she needed to Dmail you back Confirmation and has just been printing out. So I'm sure she will be do all of your's as soon as she can !

I feel so stupid but let me say it my way and see if I have it right. I pick 15 diff. items and they are on my paper in any order and all I have to have is it on my list? It doesn't have to be in the order called right?

Right. The first person to have all 15 on their list called posts BINGO and wins. :-)

And I didn't know Anna was supposed to Dmail us confirmations of our cards, either. Printing them out seems like a good backup. Thanks, Anna!

Allison, If I understand correctly each day you pick a prize you will post in the "Calls" square of the thread. Is that right?

yes ! And I will do bonus/extra calls too.
Or do you think I should start a new thread for calling sense this one got so long ?

Maybe somebody on dial-up can tell us if this thread starts getting slow to load. Usually threads are OK until they get up to 150 posts or more, I think, and then they mostly start getting slow if they have lots of photos, which this one doesn't. But it might just keep things more clear to start a new thread when the game is afoot!

We could name the thread June/July Bingo and Allison posts once a day. The only other poster would be the one who yells BINGO!

I think Allison was planning to keep a running list of the calls by editing the third post on this thread (or a top post on a new thread). That will make it easy to find the new call for the day as well as to check on which names have already been called. Then it won't matter if the thread gets chatty! :-)

Fine by me!

When I do the Bingo calls each day they will be a running post like jill mentioned .
The new day will always be on top and people can check when ever is good for them.~ Example
June 17th. MAC'S TANTALIZING TEMPTATION
Bonus Black Ace
June 16th. Purple Passion
June 15 th. Red Bandito
It makes it easier to fine and to verifie.
I will post all calls in one sqaure starting one June 15 th. until someone calls Bingo !
I can start a new thread and people can post on how they are doing if they like !
I've sponcored zillions of these games so I'm good at it lol
Lot's of groups have a Bingo section that does not move.
Except the Yahoo groups when they posted the calls you had to fix each day the whole list like above.
I like bonuses and fast games :))
