I was walking out in my garden and saw this THING......never have seen anything like it before. It is about 6 " in length and 3" wide. Is it Friend or Foe??? HELP before it attacks

* Naw, I'm only being ridiculously (& probably needlessly) silly this morning! *

Docile & doesn't mind posing for ya.

They've no mouth and cannot eat .. so, sadly, they've an extremely short adult life span. During this short span, they'll look for host plants of which to lay their eggs for the next generation. Their sole purpose is reproduction.

Hope you'll take (or have) the opportunity to get a few more shots ...
