Doing the Happy Dance!!!!

It's not because 3 of my Orchids are spiking now..even one that bloomed in April.It's not because my Tibouchinas will finally flower,or my Canna seedlings are in bloom..although I could for those reasons.It is because I am going home for 2 weeks,and I can't wait.My 3 oldest friends are chipping in to send me back to NYC,after a rather rough patch in my life(my separation),so I am over the moon now!!!
I can't wait to smell the flowers of my childhood,and go to the Botanical gardens,and visit every garden center in the Tri-State area!!This is a healing trip for me,although I will be thinking about my garden and children everyday until I come back.
My 3 smallest children are with my ex during this time,and although he couldn't care less if I ate while I was there,could reach the airport,or anything else that concerned money..he asked me to look for 2 suits for him,because they are so much cheaper in New York!!How ludicrous!! I have been laughing for days over this,and have had so many suggestions as where to put those suits,and what to do with the money for them(sorry can't print those here),that I had to share the highlight of my trip!!
I can't wait,so if anyone hears a loud yelp next Monday,I have arrived!!

If I was in your position (and I was) I would take his money (alot of it)and buy the suits. Unfortunately the price of suits has gone up considerably in NYC don't you know :)
A little extra spending money is always nice on vacation

But after 11 years,he couldn't give a d..id I want to write that about me or anything about me! Wow,a bit mind-blowing,but I have to see past that,and move on..the dangling pair,though!!
He is also crying poverty,although he just booked a 2500 dollar vacation!! I can still giggle,but I feel really sorry for him..some people don't know what is really important in life.

Just enjoy yourself and have a great vacation and have him get his own suits. When you get to NYC.find a catalog and just cut out a couple of pictures of some suits and say.....here ya go.

I'm so glad to read that you're taking a trip for you! Since I'm in the Tri-State area, I would have to agree about the many wonderful botanical gardens abounding in this area. Take more than enough time to smell the roses and everything else for yourself. Have a wonderful and memorable trip back here :)

My DH is a wonderful and generous man but my ex...well, lets just say that if all men were alike and were like the ex then the world would not have a population! Fortunately there are so many good men out there that the population is booming!!!
