I need to know what to soak my moonvine seeds in and for how long to get started before direct sowing. After direct sowing do I have to keep soil moist constantly?
Same questions for mg seeds. I have an common orange, heavenly blue, and several others.
Thanks for your help.

HELP: Starting mg and moonvine seeds
I just soak mine for 24 hrs [or overnight] in plain tap water. Have used both warm and cold water and have seen no difference in germination.
I have really fast draining, pure sand for dirt, so I watered mine twice a day until they germed and then backed off to once a day.
I also just soak mine overnight in plain tap water before planting out. I use cold. If I start them indoors, I get a very high germ rate - but outside, I've been getting much less. Probably because I am pushing the envelope for zone 6b again - it really isn't warm enough here, yet, for sowing. I killed the ones I started indoors by putting them out too early. I keep forgetting I'm not in zone 9b anymore, but the seedlings know, LOL, and promptly croak. I don't know if it is really warm enough for outdoor sowing in your area yet. You might try indoor sowing in peat pots as well as outdoor seeding, that way you have some backups incase the ones outside don't like the weather yet.
Good luck!
