anyone had any experience with these? I have seen some growing naturally on the gulf coast and have always admired the way they look, but only recently found out you can buy them. I live about 90 miles from the coast and my soil is not sandy, would i need to mix some sand in with the soil for it to grow right? Supposed to be hardy in my zone. thanks for any help.
sand live oaks
These trees are native to my area but I don't have any experience with growing them. I have probably seen them many times and thought they were young live oaks. I think they would be better suited for city plantings than live oak because of their smaller size.
