Ric Rac Blooming

Here's the 3 that will be opening. The one on the right is the old one withering away.

Not the greatest picture! Too much lawn in the background, but you get the gist....

Cool!

So pretty!
Something that I have noticed with mine. The first ones open wide and the petals almost fold back. The later blooms open more like the one that you show in the picture. I had wondered if it could be the heat that makes mine not open as wide.
My first ones open so early that I have to watch for frost at night. Lows in the 30s and mid 40s. When the last ones open the low is usually in the 60s at night. Anybody know if the heat would cause them to not open as wide??

Hi, Everyone!

Seems this thread has died! No "action" for almost 2 months!!

OK! I wanted to offer, again, my rooted cuttings to anyone that would be interested. I have about 10.

If you would like to have one, please send me a D-Mail and your address. All I want in return is postagepaid.

Here are the cuttings now.

Here's Mama just hanging around. It is so hot here! We are at about 95-100 degrees at this time. NOT doing much in my garden. Just watering.....

Not the right Forum, but....while I am at it, here's a picture of my Kopper King Hibiscus I planted last year. This is the first time I have actually seen the blooms. I LOVE it!
I wonder if this one will make seeds or not? Hmmmm????/

Gita,

I would love a cutting! I ordered one from Epi's by Pat and accidentally ordered the one with white blooms. Can I send you postage?

Thank you,
Mary Ev.

Oh thank you for posting pics. I've had one or the other of them for 4 or 5 years, and nothing.... but we gardeners are a patient lot (sometimes). Gita, so sweet of you to offer up that way. I surely try one if I didn't have mine to fuss over.

****The Ric-Rac rooted cuttings are now all gone!*****until next Summer....

So, this exchange is CLOSED!!!!!

Thanks to all! Gita
