Just wanted to share some pics of my new child's spring growth. Was hoping the variegation would appear and presto! Here come the streaks!

Nice - Is this a named cultivar and or your introduction? I have been looking for a jade butterflies ginkgo larger than in a one gal. Oddly enought the closest place I could find one was in a Chicago nursery. A bit out of my way to pick up, three 1/2 hr drive one way. Hubby says no to the drive given the cost of gas an all. :( Local nurseries only seem to know one ginkgo, the very large Autumn Gold.

My demise comes in the form of variegated ginkgoes... Pity I've ironically spent all of my money on gas to be in the midwest right now. My comeuppance for growing invasives, no doubt.
