'Popcorn' Poppin'

Elburn, IL(Zone 5a)

This is the first year I have seen blooms on my Viburnum plicatum 'Popcorn', it having reached about 4-5' in size. Fast grower. Only a few blooms this year, but next year should be killer. VV--don't you have a more mature plant?

I have one of those Popcorns too! The flowers are quite large and very showey. MIne has bloomed not very heavily last year and this year. Its still a young plant too so I am hoping for a great display next spring.

Kevin,
Just went to the PF to look it up. There is no photo posted there so you might want to post yours, as it is a great pic!

BG--No fragrance, unfortunately. I will wait to post a pic till next year. The plant can be far more impressive than these few flowers. Here is a link to Roslyn Nursery's pic:

Maybe I can have that next year!
