CG two weeks after Messanger spray
Isn't it too expensive? Does it last long? I have no idea of how much I should get. Can anyone help, please?
Can you foliar spray your garden with 1 gallon? Once the package is mixed, it has to be used up that day. I spray every 2-3 weeks. As someone on another thread wrote, quit spraying early fall so your plants can go dormant in the winter, I spray longer here as we pretty much have a year round growing season.

I am very new to brugs and have mostly just been admiring. I'm trying something new...learn everything i can BEFORE purchacing. i get so excited and impulse buy. Do you recommend a particular variety for a beginner? I noticed the beautiful fushia plant was potted? should i start out potting mine or putting it in the ground? (btw: what size pot was that?) I have some messenger on the way...can't wait to try it!

aslasalle, I onlt have a few brugs given to me within the last year, except for 2 I purchased years ago in a nursery, both of which are in the ground so I am basically new too. My two oldies are unknowns so I can't really recomened anything in particular. I do pot all my cuttings in small 1 gal. pots and work my way up. I just put another large standard in the ground.
Are you asking if fucshias should be potted? That's a Sacred Flower of the Incas, Cantua buxifolia. I use a lot of pots because I get them so cheap, they are slightly damaged or overstocks.
If you do a search for past threads on variety recomendations, you may find some answers or perhaps start a new thread so the brug experts can add comments for you.

I tried my messengers but it hasn't been on but a few days. Made one little error, instead of Messengers, on four begonias and one basket of pets, I sprayed Miracle Coat Lusterizer on them, totally by error, just made me sick because I didn't discover it until several hours later - but, guess what?? They are doing as good, if not better, than the ones with Messengers. This is the time of the year that all plants are happy here...
