??? about collecting seed

i have never grown morning glories until this year and got my first blooms yesterday!!!!!!!! i will post pictures later tonight. i have 'palest pink' flowers open today. my question is how long does it take to form seed and how do you know when they are ready etc. any help is appreciated!

Kelly,

The flower will curl up, and drop off. At the base of the flower will form a spherical seed capsule. It will be green at first. Let it develop and turn to papery brown. Then you can pick the seed capsule, and release the hard seeds that are inside. Let the seeds dry in open air for a couple weeks before you bag them up for storage.
