Sorting and printing

Two questions - when I sort by genus, which is my preference, two things appear at the top of the list that are not in the proper place in the alphabet. Everything else is fine. Why?

Also, when I prepare to print (I am making a book to take with me in the garden so I can remember my notes and jot down new ones to enter) even though I have sorted the entire list by genus it appears in the print screen sorted by common name. That is not how I want to print. I want to print by genus alphabetically in each catagory. Can I do this and, if so, how.

Someone else was asking the same question about printing when sorted by genus both here and on DG forum, and I haven't seen too many answers yet. When I have my list sorted by genus and I click on the button to prepare to print, it sorts mine by RID # not by common name

As far as the alphabetical order, I've never had any experience with it not working the way it should. Is there any chance that you have a space, number or some other character in front of the first letter of the ones that are showing up out of order? That's the only thing I can think of.

I haven't seen a response to this question as yet (in two forums); anyone know of a solution?
