Newly Planted Kieffer Pear

I planted three ball&burlap Kieffer pear trees 6 weeks ago. When I got these trees they had no leaves, but had buds and the trunk and branches are green. The buds still have not opened. These Kieffers are about 7 foot tall.

What's up? How long should it be before the buds open?

They could have been in cold storage. Give them a little bit of time and see what happens.
