I have two Carolina Laurel bushes (Prunus caroliniana 'Monus'). One is super healthy with tons of new growth. The other, 10 feet away, has no new growth and about half the leaves have maroon spots and holes in them and are starting to turn yellow and fall off. Is this shothole fungus? If so, how do I treat it? I would like to save the shrub. They are hard to find and expensive around here. I read another Member successfully used Ortho "Orthex" on a skip laurel with shothole fungus; is this worth a try?
Is this shothole fungus on my Carolina Laurel?

Oh nasty. I haven't had to deal with that by me. I have had to deal with other fungal infections and I'm wondering about timing of treating that. Here's hoping somebody who has had to deal with this stops in so consider this a bump to your post.
Thanks for the sympathy, Equilibrium. Here's hoping...... :-)
Take a few symptomatic leaves to your local extension office. It's probably common out there where you live and they'll know what it is and how to treat it.
