Is there a reason, other than space, for starting in flats and repotting seedlings? I'd rather just plant in the pint-sized pots and let them grow in there until I plant out ... yes, I'm lazy! I'm also just a weekend gardener ... plus I planted lots of stuff in flats under my three banks of lights and when I potted them up I didn't have enough room under the lights for them all!

Crockny--I gotta admit I do that too...I just sow a bit more heavily than most folks do. I just hate to sit and pot things up...such a slow, time consuming process. But I also still do some things in plastic plugs.
