Shasta Viburnum Flowering Heavily

North Shore of L. I., NY(Zone 6b)

Well, My Shasta Viburnum, which I have had for afew years is flowering very heavily this year. Past years it hasn't flowered even a forth so much. I have a much smaller Shoshoni that is flowering so there will be cross pollination. The Popcorn is also flowering. Both Popcorn and Shoshoni only flower alittle but they are younger and newer here than the Shasta. So maybe they will come into their own in a year or two also!!! The Shasta is well over six feet tall and it was about a foot and a half when I planted it. They seem to grow fast!!!

Everyone over here seems like a friendly bunch!!

Yes, that is me. The same newyorkrita on Gardenweb. I used the same username here so people would recognize me.

Hey, you forgot to post a photo of your 'Shasta'. That's a very graceful Viburnum.

I have to take a picture before I can actually post one and I am no good at dopwnloading them from the camera!! The Shasta does look really good though, even if I say so myself. Of course soon I will be ranting about some other Viburnum I have since I have about 40 assorted viburnums in my yard. Probably not a lot for people like Kevin and ViburnumValley, but I don't have lots and lots of room to plant.
