Just a couple pictures of this tree at Alms Park in Cincy. Sadly, two thirds of this tree came down this year, which has been my source for a lot of seeds over the years. A few stems remain, however. It was just beginning to bloom, but my shots of the flowers were disappointing.

The drought took out my oldest one last year, despite my feeble attempts to dump water on it occasionally. After a certain age you just can't water them enough unless you have an unlimited water supply, and I was trying to keep several hundred newer trees alive so I had to slight it. Bummer.
