I just collected a few seeds from Oenothera acaulis. The seeds were outdoors through the winter in the seed pods. It looks like the main plant is MIA and I don't want to lose them as they were given to me by a friend. So what would be the best way to start the seeds? Soak them? Pots outdoors?
Please help!!!
Steve
Oenothera acaulis
Oenothera is super easy. I just lay them on soil over heat with light. Generally, it takes a week for germination, and three tops for the first true leaves. Oenothera will naturalize easily, so you can also sow them in situ.
Good luck!
