These cute babies were a little sucker and they grew with one other baby I sent to Nanna in a little Thumb print pot. Then I trans-planted them to 2 oz. dixie cups. Yesterday they went to 2.50 pots. Their root systems were too larger for 2 inch pots.

Cute babies
Oh Allison that is beautiful, gorgeous!
Thanks April ~
Their so sweet. Nanna has the other sister. and Lorry has an older sister that the tiny sucker of these came off of when I was separating them from Mom.
And Jill has an older sister I'm holding for her. But Hubby knocked it over and it love leaves so depending how she looks she may get one of these.
She is soooo cute Allison :)
I lost the one you sent me though..:( So I don't think lillian likes me (sniffle)
so cute!! Love those shape of flowers!
Those are adorable! I'm always tickled that something so small can bloom :-)
They are beautiful, Allison!!
Oh your Midget Lilian died Lorry Sorry. How about your Ramblin' Midget and Lillian Sparkler ?
Thank you ! I think one of the FC pictures are their Mom ..; I grew it by leaf and sold it to a lady fron Canada Jaon and if it's the same one I took a leaf from it to grow all these last 5 babies !
I do have a few leaves down from when hubby kncoked Jill's off the shelf.
Those are beautiful. I love minis with the bell shape. Matching yarn, too!!
Thanks ! I love Miniatures and most will bloom great big flowers !
Can't wait for mine to bloom. She is taking her own sweet time. But, she is healthy and the bud stems are getting closer to the top of the plant. There are about 4 bloom stems still hiding under those beautiful leaves.
Oh geat she has buds ! She is the sister to these two. When I first potted up Lorry and JIll's plant therewas the tiniest maybe 1/8 inch baby left I put her into thumb
print one of those black pots. Seem so fast the pot was over flowng and stuffed full. When I separated was three good size babies all went into their own 2 inch dixie cup. But the way they grew they had no roots I could keep just three suckers. But they have grown fast. Your's might have slown down a bit beacause of her trip. But she is catching up with her buds, Buging a Miniature they never get real big anyways. They are so cute !
I love the pink bell blooms. So Springy!
Yes they sure are !
oh,shes a cutie!
Thank you Jan !
Sorry I think it was ramblin midget I lost :( It happens..Some I just seem to not have luck with :(
Are the Minis hard for you? They need so much more care.
Violet_Treasure
oh my goodness,so beautifull,God sure has blessed you a bunch with growing violets
eunice
Thank you Eunice. God sure has Blessed me with the cutiest healthy babies. I never thought I'd have the time/cjance to grow one baby in the life time. 9-12 months for a blooming plant, never. I was just buying blooming plants until a seller gave me a free leaf ! That was all it took !
These babies touch my heart and amaze me everyday.
I'd love to send you more ! Allison
Nope..Most of my minis do just fine. I have lost a total of like four minis in my time (laugh) I think when I started, I lost more standards then minis.
WOW cool
I did find out the two babies, Jill's baby, Nanna's baby and Lorry's baby Midget Lillian Mom 's picture is one in FC :)) I sold her the plant and took a leaf and grew these babies from it :))
I also grew the one in FC sold by leaf too :))
Just a little excitment for me :))
It lives in Canada !

Nanna my Midget Lillian flowers are staying bells ! But my Annabelle new flowers only a couple opened so far they are not bells :((. She has a lot of buds they look like blueberries. I am hoping they open to bells thats why I bought her :))
Mine are opening bells, but they are semi double bells. There are additional petals inside the bell. Tons of buds.
Don't give up hope. Sometimes blooms vary on the same plant. At least they do for me. Hope she blooms true for you. I love the blossoms, but I also love the leaves. They are so dark and pliable. I love the vein pattern, too.
I am still waiting for Midget Lilliam to bloom the buds are above the leaves, now, so it should be any day. Several of the plants you sent are just about read to bloom and the leaves you sent for the contest are starting to ear.
Hope Midget Lillian stays bell blooms for me as well. They are such a delicate shade of pink and so cute!. I can hardly stand it.
I have tons of buds on Annabelle too ! They are so blue they look like blueberries ! Her other flowers look like bells ! Yes I can't get over how Midget Lillian's flowers are still bells ! Hope you get some bells too. It's great their blooming and getting use to their new enviroment ! Lot's of plants bloom when their stressed. And maybe the trip stressed her.
I was reading to force bloom is to let the plant go dry a few times.
sure worked on my Chirita. When I was visiting in Florida, one of mine didn't get water (Diane Marie) and when I got home it was like wilted lettuce. I soaked it in real warm water and about two days later it looked like new again and then in about a week it was loaded with fowers. It had the buds already, but they had been there since January, just sitting there. It's only just now dropped it's last flower.
(I would be too scared to do it on purpose, but this was just an accidental thing)
Some of the best things happy by accident!!!!!
Chiritas do like to be dry and tight small pots. You will find them growing in-between the cracks of rocks.
Also I was just reading in an old Gesneriads Journal that one way to get a plant that won't bloom is to let it go dry and water a few times and it will bloom like crazy :))
What a lovely plant! Allison, please don't worry if mine lost a few leaves.... I'm sure more leaves will grow! I'll give it a nice spot under the lights.... :-)
I have 'Midget Gumdrop' and will be sending a couple of the struggling little plantlets to Allison with her magical green thumb, but I've been having a hard time propagating that one.... like 'Winnie the Pooh', it produces suckers rather than growing, which may be a watering issue, but I haven't figured it out yet.
Miniature plants do need re-planting more often. They also need watering more oftern
If they are a lowed to dry out they will sucker . or die.
I will send you the best plant Jill not the one that fell even though it has been newly re-potted and under lights.
Your Electric Cowboy is best and is at least twice the size and twice as nice now :))
99 percent I was lucky with progation But there was a percent that did not go well. I feel this is only normal :))
No worry about the percentage that did not do well. Just send and enjoy what did well :))
Oh yes speaking of suckers. Make sure a suspected sucker is not a flower stalk.
Allison, you just lost me :-) LOL Wouldn't you just leave the sucker or whatever for a while anyway, and then be able to tell for sure if it was a sucker or flower stalk?
Sharon
Yes U would but some new people may not know to wait. I figure every AV book I pick -up says this must be for some reason . lol Some people may not know that many blooms come with leaves :))
I lost a lot of tiny suckers I tried to pot up over the winter.... now, I either remove them as soon as I'm sure they're not flower buds (seeing 3 leaves is a givaway; flower buds won't have more than 2), or if I want the sucker for propagating, I let it grow larger so it has at least 5 or 6 leaves & seems reasonably sturdy.
