Freeze warning tonight!!! Should i cover my babies?

novi, MI(Zone 6a)

So do i need to cover them or will they be ok?
I've already taken the tape off of the milk jugs for air circ. and the tops off of the pop bottles (my sunflowers and Morning Glories are in the 2 liters and are too tall i think for the covers to go back on!!)
SHOULD I THROW A BLANKET OR SOMETHING OVER THE LOT OF THEM?

(by the way, from a non gardening point of view - this post sounds ridiculous...lol)

You may want to throw an old sheet (a blanket is too heavy) over some of your more tender annuals. The perennials will be absolutely fine. Even if you get a light frost, if won't hurt the plants because they are already use to fluctuations in night time temperatures. They should come through it like troopers!

ok. i threw a sheet over them. And moved my hanging baskets of fuschia under there as well. And a potted Wisteria i trained up over the winter in the house.
Fingers crossed.
Thanks for the prompt reply Shirley. I was in full panic mode. I almost forgot about them out there, and when i remembered i thought for sure everyone would already be asleep or something!

Thanks

LOL I thought of my WS babies last night, too, and almost made myself crazy with worry until I remembered I was supposed to 'Take the Wintersowing Leap Of Faith!' (and a sleeping pill!)

How did your plantings fare? My did OK and I didn't lose too much sleep!

Mine did great! They even seemed bigger the next day!
My fuschias and the wisteria were a bit burned on the tops- but these weren't WSd.
LOL on the sleeping pill statement.
