Hara no hikari

Jones Creek, TX(Zone 9a)

I sure hope I spelled this correctly the tag is a little messy and I had to guess at some of the letters.
Anyway this is the first to bloom for me this season. It is a real beauty and so big at that.....

Hi Dee,

Glad to see you posting(!)...my guess would be a "Hama no Haru" based on the color...as any 'hikari' would be white...unless it is one of the pinkish colored 'Hana' series...

Welcome back(!)...

Now I gotta look through about 100 packs of JMG seeds to see if I have that one LOL

Beautiful!

Gorgeous! That's one I have not seen. I just started some seeds inside yesterday. Frost warnings out for tonight, but I'm hoping I can put them out in a couple weeks.

Thank you all, I didn't plant as many MG this year as I did in the past. I do have some coming along that should be spectacular and I will post them as soon as I get some blooms to photograph.
I really enjoy all of your post and photos of threads you have started, keep up the good work.
Thanks Ron for you comments and your probably right on the name, as I said I was guessing on the letters since I couldn't really make them out that well and the seed was a trade so maybe they didn't know either......

The flower is so big! Just beautiful! I have some seedlings and I am getting ready to find them a place in the garden. Can't wait!
