I bought a Sutherland gold elderberry last year. The new growth has black tips and some of the new buds are black. What kind of disease is this? Is there something I should do? thanks

Beats me. Frost damage? See what happens over time. If the buds got hit with a sudden frost just as they were opening that might be the cause.

Mark., just a wild guess that could wee be wrong; anyone got other ideas?
