Fruit Tree Spray
Ortho used to make an all-purpose fruit tree spray. I don't know anything more about it. I think there is a "fruit tree" forum. It might be good to ask your question there.
Scott
DECUM,
Hmmm, I looked for thatt, but being as blind as I am, I musta missed that forum, thanx.

PS. If you happen to run accross the name, please let me know. thanx
I agree with Scott. I would add that if you don't follow the label and the spray schedule religiously, you might as well not bother. One missed spray can undue all your work, especially with fungi like scab.

blue,
If you're wanting non-wormy apples, the thing to do is to bag 'em as soon as you can - cheap ziploc sandwich bags work great on most varieties that have any sort of a stem(short-stemmed varieties are more problematic) .
A number of NAFEX folks have been bagging the last couple of years, and reports have been GLOWING!!! Perfect, bug-free apples.

Resin
RESIN, As long as it dont kill me or mine, I am down with it, ;) LOL
STAR,
I called a local tree spraying service and they wanted 80.00 per trip, and at least four trips throughout the growing season. I thought, Hey, there HAS to be a CHEAPER way.
You're right -- DIY!
Just be careful to do it right and on schedule. And I think that will mean more than 4 applications too.
Of course, you can always have some fun grossing out finicky women by eating wormy apples in front of them. Take a bite, see the hole, see the worm start to crawl out, show your DW or girlfriend (or secretary, or MIL), then take another bite and yell "Protein!"
Works every time!!! Hee-hee-hee! (Some of us never grow up . . . )

Bluelytes, here is a link that may help.
It's about Peaches but the spray is the same.
