I'm not sure why, yet my Red Bay seems to be experiencing some stress. It was planted 5 months ago and was flushing out ok with the coming of spring. The last several weeks though have given way to leaves turning yellow and dropping off. I fertilized last month with a Lesco slow release 14-14-14 to a lot of my perennial beds and trees yet this Red Bay seems stressed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I only have one mature red bay on my property. Are you sure it has gotten enough moisture? It has been very dry in the southeast this year.
