Ivy1, how is the plant you whacked back doing? I've got one that's got a lot of woody stems, and I would like to try to rejuvenate it to become bushier like the others in the border. Otherwise, it's yank it out time.
Growing Lavender
Mine are doing fine, they are forming bright green mounds at the base. We have had so much rain here, though, they are still very small. I think when we get some sun and dry weather, they will start bushing up.
Thanks. I wonder if its too late to cut mine back? Actually, I suppose it doesn't matter, because I am pretty much expecting to need to replace it anyway. I think I'll go out and whack. :)
I found one that I missed and cut it back yesterday. I don't think it will matter- you may even see some green at the base already.
