Maybe you have a hybrid with the one

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Macy, I wasn't ignoring you(I've just known Chele for years). Michele, do you need bananas? I have pups. The basjoo does not do well here, it is too hot believe it or not! No cold spell in winter.
CC, I would love to visit you too, just don't know how much time I will have. I haven't even asked my boss for time off yet!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Hmmmm, I wonder how many people we could get to meet at my house so you could pop through and meet a bunch? LOL

Hey, did you get your box yet??

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Oh yes! I KNEW I was forgetting something. It came yesterday. They were gorgeous! Thank you soooooooo much!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Are you sure?? They all got there intact?????

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

One got broken, but I planted the bottom part and have the top rooting. Our postal distribution center is rough on packages and you did a great job packing so they survived intact.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Ack! Do you want some more?

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

cool beans sounds like a trip brewing. Yep can get a few people over here to like Mz Munchie. Oh I had so much funny when I met you all at Roz's, Susie.

Chele they tried to get me drunk in the pool lol. I don't drink and they were feeding me Margaritas lol. Was all so much fun. I hated to leave but had to go cook for DH. Although I was invited to drag him back for a shrimp boil, I just knew he would be to tired after work

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I think I was framed........

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Michele, they were fine. Today you can't even tell they were shipped, they're standing up pretty in the garden and one has buds. I didn't notice it till today!

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Susie the nanas look tops!
Please though don't insult the possums they get a bad enough rap as it is..........
Look like rats, dumb as a stump, now lumping them w/ Chele..............

Speaking of whom.
We drove by Cheles old place this morning.
Sad but strangely quiet....................lol

I'll see if our neighbor Eric knows about the Orinoco look alike.
He does a lot w/ the warmer weather bananas.

Susie, if you stop at Donna's I'm gonna be there, too. (She doesn't know it yet. I'll tell her later.) On the other hand if it's Barb's house you're going to in Hattiesburg, you might find me there, too.

I'd love to meet the Banana Lady. These old friends of yours all say such nice things about you.

Kay

Lucama, NC(Zone 7b)

WOW!! That is amazing! Calalily, they are beautiful That is the first time I have ever seen a picture of the bananas actually on the tree with the blooms and all. You did a wonderful job with the pictures. Would they ever grow in Zone 7?? I sure wish!

Bev

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Ric, I'd sure like to find out what it is. I tried to keep the tags on them, but moving stuff around tags got lost. I keep hoping one of the bananas that lost its tag will bloom and be my pink one.
Kay, I figured you'd come on over to Donnas if stopped there. My friend Ruby lives in Hattiesburg(and yes, she knows Barb).
Bev, you can grow lots of bananas in zone 7, but you have to bring them in for the winter except for Basjoo. It is hardy.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

RIC!! I still know where you live! LOL Besides, I stopped hissing years ago!

Who's been telling stories about Cala??? ;)

I was outside working yesterday with country music playing. Then they stopped for the Jeff Foxworthy show where he calls people and harasses them. Yesterday he called a lady in Hattiesburg, MS and made me think of the great ladies down there. She was really funny when she found out she was talking to Jeff Foxworthy and he was trying to buy a Honda (I think) from her and she didn't have one for sale. LOL

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

yep he's a nut. We watch the Blue Collar tour on the comedy channel. They do something like that on the Johnboy and Billy radio show. One about chickens in a truck they were behind. I thought I was going to wet my pants I laughed so hard

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

There is a guy in Oklahoma that calls people from a radio station. He is sooooooo funny. They play it here sometimes.

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Bev I recently got a Musa itinerans from Brian.
It would easily be hardy in your area.
It's supposed to top out at around 40'.
I'd doubt I get THAT kind of height here but it will be fun to try.

Ric
