Hi We've been taking pictures :))

Missouri City, TX(Zone 9a)

Allison, Emilie Savage & Russian Rozovyi Zhemchug (Konstantin Morev) are too die for! WOW! but your poor little Precious, I know you say she loves it, but really can't you see how humilliated she is, poor baby?! LOL way too cute, if I could get my baby to keep something on between my kids, grandson and I, she'd be dressed all the time- she is the perfect model, really you send some photos to purina or some place, she is soooo photogenic!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

OH Thanks April ! You think I should !

Missouri City, TX(Zone 9a)

Yeah, she is too cute and as if you needed any more proof than this forum, people are suckers for a cute dog is clothes! I don't know why, but who can keep themselves from smiling when they see a dog in clothing and especially your baby's sweet face- that face is just too, too sweet, clearly Precious was the right choice for her name!

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Thanks ! My hubby names her. And her middle name is Joy ! And she grows African violets :))

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 4a)

Precious looks simply gorgeous in her new Spring outfit! Beautiful pictures of your AF's!
:) Donna

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Thanks Donna :))

Precious looks like a calendar girl to me-I believe Good Morning America would love to have Precious on their tv show-they could inveiw her at home modeling all her outfits & hats-I bet they would get great top ratings for that show :) And she would have all kinds of offers from all the dog food companies for sure.
Your Pink Pearl is very pretty.

SW, WI(Zone 4b)

I have to agree with that.....I honestly know of no other dog that gets dressed up and not only 'models' but 'hams it up' for the camera...she amazes me!!

Great bloom photos, too!
I thought your photography skills were already good, but I think they're getting even better.

Drumheller, AB(Zone 2a)

Hi Allison,

Kewl pics!!! Your dog looks quite content!

Thanks for taking the time to share the photos.

Joanne

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Thank you ! Oh yes Joanne as you can see the pictures go from inside to outside . And she's still wearing her hat ! She even falls alseep with it on :))
Precious sure is quite content!
She's our loving little girl !

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 6b)

Your dog is just "Precious"! And loves the camera too! :)

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I am going to start crying...............thank you God for whoever bumped this up......I miss her advice and knowledge more than anyone could ever know even though I email her every single day as do many of us.....I just turned in an order to Bluebird with some of her suggestions she sent me....now I want to add the Russian one she posted....a year ago.....Allison not being around is just one of those big hurts in life that you never ever get over!!!!! Life is life....not always pleasant.....
gessiegail
PS> thank you so much for bumping this up duranie10....I don't know who you are, but you must be wonderful to do this for us...

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I just took pictures today of the minis I found at some nursery about a month ago....natural light is so much better, but it is cold, dark, rainy and miserable outside.....I think this is an appropriate time to post these 'not so good' pics as I took them to send to Allison. She is the one who taught me how to find 'good av's in the most unusual places'...
Here goes and be patient with how many variegated minis in bloom I do have......won't ever be this lucky again....

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

threegardeners....never would I be hanging out on DG for this holiday, but the weather is sooooooooo cold, rainy and just 'yukky' all around.....this is really a coincidence that i took these pics today to send to Allison.....and I really did place my very first order of 'named' AV's today from Bluebird.....
I have never played Bingo in my life and the April Bingo is the most exciting thing!!!....You must just love holding those cards!!! I think that would be fun to know before the players know who won.....thanks for doing this....

:)) It's been snowing here for 3 days now...not staying, but big fluffy flakes coming down....I'm glad I didn't uncover all my flower beds when the neighbours were doing theirs....hehehe.....I am really enjoying holding the cards.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

well, we always rush spring down here, too. I spent hours yesterday bringing in at least 100 plants on my front screened in porch and have more to bring in before tonight. This year being my first year back home in this zone I am learning the hard way on the timing of the 'last really cold' night......got up this morning and had to start the day off with 2 Motrin (LOL) as I ached all over....guess I will go outside now and get the rest of the tender tender things.....last night I was hauling tables in from the storage unit and i think that was the reason for my soreness today...These will go on the floor on old towels (is they ruin the carpet, so be it!!!!)...
I can see why you are heheheing it as you left yours covered....my sister in law is probably doing the same with me...she told me I was starting too early!!!!
Oh my goodness...I just realized you are sitting in zone 5a...you DO know what cold is!!!!!

(Zone 1)

Ok Gessiegail: If you are taking orders, I will take one of each! (Just kidding!) Really would love to have one of each, but I'm running out of room! LOL. Very, Very Beautiful! Great Growin!

Oh, isn't this cold front horrible. Here we've been in the mid 80's for high temps and mid 60's for lows for the past 3 or 4 weeks! Now, it's supposed to be 39 here tonight! That will tie a record cold for this date from 1958! I hate it! I moved my orchids inside yesterday, and a couple of other things, threw blankets over some others and said to heck with it! I am tired of moving stuff in and out ... it takes forever! So, we will see what everything looks like in the morning! I really think things will be okay if it doesn't stay cold for more than a couple of hours. Crossing my fingers!

Again, Hope everyone has a Blessed Easter!

Lin

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Hello, Lin....I have been on the puter half the day as it is sooooo cold outside...I hate cold so much, I am having to talk myself into getting up early in the morning, a joyous day......

Fayetteville, NC(Zone 8a)

I am with you Gail. I miss Allison so much and email her as do you. But I got excited when I saw her name on this thread until I realized that it was from a year ago. Her dog sure is cute.

Your plants are very beautiful, and I'm not even a fan of variegated foliage. I'd love to have mine blooming like that! Thanks for the pictures.

St Joseph, IL(Zone 5b)

Gessie,
Enjoyed your mini pics again this morning. A good way to start Sunday to thank God for all that he has given us including our friends and his beautiful plants to have fun with and enjoy. And thank God for Allison. Let's pray for her and her family for strength and understanding. Have a great day.
Laura

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

1gardengram and Laura, I am so happy you bumped up this thread again.......................Allison is amazing with her joy in such pain and still sharing her love for the plants that God has allowed her to still grow in her own way...............she is still sharing every new plant she grows.
Peace,
gail

Oh I love your dog Allison ! and your plants are pretty .

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

I miss her too, she is always so special and has such wonderful advice for us when we had questions. She is in my prayers everyday. I just hate this happened!
