I called her cell and left a message. I didn't want to be a pest either.

Foley, AL

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Pink speedos will be okay. I'll tell the pool boys not to laugh at you.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

I hope there is not a big fight for Ely's britches. They sound pretty stunning...

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Chele, I do not care how comfortable you may think Ely's hot PINK speedo is, you can not take it from him for yourself.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

I probably couldn't get them past my knees anyway....

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I will need to buy sunglasses with Kell's bright orange bathing suit and Ely's hot pink speedo. Chele, I got some coconut oil tanning lotion for you.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Wooo hoooo! Hey, what are you wearing to this party?

Foley, AL

LOL yall are something else...

ely

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I can't decide between a hot pink bikini and a red one piece. How fast can one recover from liposuction?

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

I had word this morning that tigerlily would like to attend our party. She really is not into the pink thing though. She will have to be on the side with you Susie as midlife has been way too kind to her! Maybe we can find her a nice little black beaded number??

Raleigh, NC(Zone 7b)

I do want to come! I think I need to sit in the middle though-in between the two groups-the haves and have nots lol. I think i am getting more have. Forget the bathing suits-what are we going to eat? Can the pool boys cook as well? That would be so cool.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

I thought I'd heard mention of roasted gator....

Raleigh, NC(Zone 7b)

well in that case I have to bring a date.....he is a little shy but he could maybe hunt down that armadillo for Calalily. I like a little variety in the meal lol. It could go the other way though and the armadillo hunts him down-he is the biggest wimp I know in dogs. That would be embarrassing

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL The glowing eyes on those dark dogs always look so scary!

Raleigh, NC(Zone 7b)

I know...he's really scared of the camera. Thats the last picture I will be able to take of him lol. Did you get your plastic fixed?

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Yes! It was unfun! LOL Hubby came out and helped me with me yelling at him to get his sick buns back in the house! I dragged some cement blocks from the front yard and put them over the second layer of plastic. I've about had it with all this wind!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I may get liposuction too so I can wear my hot orange bikini and forget the PINK burka. Do they do a full body suck?

So the pool boys are cooking for us and our dates will be dogs? Sounds hot to me.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Yes, bring your puppy. Bleu and Skittles like company and play well with others.
I'll get the pool boys to prepare us a nice feast. I guess I could sent them down to the port to get fresh shrimp.
Michele, are you covering your greenhouse? Every time we would cover ours, the wind would blow. It never failed!

Raleigh, NC(Zone 7b)

I just thought of Bear when I heard we were having gator. I'm a little squeamish about some foods-like oysters (have never had one-I just don't think I can) and I figured that if the gator looked a bit dicey I could just give it to Bear without anyone seeing lol. Of course he's allergic to chicken-does gator taste like chicken? lol. I'll just drink the margaritas. Bear doesn't drink. He does play well with others though, and he looks great in pink

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Gator is supposed to taste like chicken, but I think it tastes more like frog legs(which are supposed to taste like chicken too) I think we will send the pool boys to the port to get fresh gulf shrimp, how does that sound?

Raleigh, NC(Zone 7b)

that sounds great to me-this whole idea does....sun, water and laughter and talking about plants

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I am just so happy you will not be cooking for us, Susie. Bring on the shrimp.

Now all I need to get a dog to be my date.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

How do you feel about chocolate Kell? I have a lab with nothing to do. ;)

Susie, the storms up here have been pretty rough. Saturday morning at 6:30 am, I was out there wrestling the plastic in 40 "feels like 30" temps with blazing hard winds! I had to go get more plastic and put it on sideways and way it down. What fun! Plants still look good though!!

Foley, AL

Tim cooked some BBQ shrimp this weekend.

ely

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Then by all means get Tim some speedos and bring him! :)

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Chele, don't you know you're suppose to wait till it's over 60 to spread that plastic??? I remember the year Bill had had the bad car accident and the plastic blew off the greenhouse. I was out there in November(in Tennessee) with wind blowing like crazy, snow flying and trying to fasten new plastic. My hands were so cold!
BBQ shrimp it is then. We've gotta find a cute little dog for Kell. I guess if she doesn't find one of her own, we can let her have Skittles, just don't tell Lauren(it's her little toy poodle puppy).
Tim can come too.

Archer/Bronson, FL(Zone 8b)

I was thinking about crashing your party, but yall would hurt yourselves laughing at me.

I was going to name all the parts that were as white as the bottomside of a flounder, but it's a bit quicker just to say I am tanned from my neck up, from my elbows down and from my knees to just above my ankles.

I've been waiting to shave my legs until there is no chance of another frost. A full winters growth can keep that wind chill at bay.

Where's this party at? Chele's? Well geesh, I have a full body wet suit I could wear.

Molly
:^))))

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Molly, come on out. It's in Texas, was 84 degrees today. I went swimming yesterday(not in a bikini). If anybody laughs at you, we will make them go sit with the gators!
I saw a man driving a tractor today, he was white as a sheet of paper. I wonder if he is lobster color now.

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Are you providing weapons to keep the cane rats at bay?
(Hey it is Texas!)
If not we can send Wu down.
Shar Pei are excellent ratters!
(Though they can't swim a lick! lol)

We also haven't seen a gator here since we got her.

well...isn't he a handsome boy! He looks like he could take the gators on a lot better than my Bear, who would be hiding under my chair.

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

Thanks tl.
Wu's a she and totally fearless.
Well there is that pesky problem w/ rain..lol

She's also a terror at eating new grass and Sea Oat shoots and for some reason Nasturtium Flowers.....

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL Susie! My greenhouse was on overload so I whipped up a quick cattle panel hoop house (26x9) to hold the overflow. It's almost full and so is the other one. I need a REAL greenhouse! As for the temps...It's been in the 70s already here and I have been sunburned three times in the past week or so. Parts of me look like it's June! I guess you are going to need pics...

Molly doll, if it makes you feel any better, I have white feet, white under my big baggy shorts and sports bra of course. I so love this weather!! It reminds me of Florida a bit. Nice and warm during the day and cool and breezy at night. Oh, my yard is almost dry and besides we are going to Susies! ;P

Ric's dogs must be pretty good chubbers and kidders too. We never get to see the fearless little beasts. LOL

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6b)

LOL!
What can you say about a dog that won't even let your own kids in the house. lol

Ric

Foley, AL

Now chele I sent you all those plants to make your cp-hoop house full... =) do I need to send more?

ely

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Ric, there's water(the resaca) between the cane fields and the house so haven't seen many cane rats. I do have a pesky raccoon...........nah, I'd miss the little beastie if he didn't come steal scraps from the compost pile. I'll have to move the nasturtiums so the doggie won't eat them.

Chele, there's a little package on its way to you to help fill your new greenhouse.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Oh ely, you should see your children! They got fed yesterday and many are sending up new leaves already. I'll have to take a pic when I get a second. I was in a time crunch and filled four window boxes (about three feet long) with them and still had to put some in pots! You nut! LOL

Well Susie, if it's a little package, it's not a new bikini for me.....Hmmmm. I need to get your box out to you too. I will probalby do it Saturday or Monday. I remembered about Jacob too! LOL

Foley, AL

My children, there Trish's
