Hey Donna,
Looks like the first photo is your I. pes-caprae
at least the ones I've seen.
Curious what Ron has to say about the others.

I hope so to! Thanks, Emma.

Donna,

The seeds look like:

1)Ipomoea pes-caprae

2) Ipomoea indica

3) Ipomoea species originally offered through Banana tree as Ipomoea 'palmata',and still sporadically offered by several different European outlets using any of several different names, non of which names are truely accurate ...the seeds apparently hang from the seedpods in the same manner similar to the Orange seeded species from Africa posted here

http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/95796/

I believe the species seeds shown in the 3rd picture you posted to be relatively closely related to the Orange seeded species based upon the manner in which the seeds might hang from the pods...

Hope that helps...

TTY,...

Ron

Ron, thank you so much for the explanations! Now I see how important it is to have the correct name for seeds or plants. Isn't it amazing that from three sources how different each seed looks even though they call them the same name.

So for the third one, I should let the seller know that the name is incorrect. So what name should I say it is?

:) Donna
