Extra terrarium plants I have

All the excitment about all your terrariums ! I can't wait to see pictures of them :)) Will you be taking pictures in steps as you create them ?

I'll take pictures. They might turn out to be a "What NOT to do when creating a terrarium" post, but I'll take them nonetheless! LOL

Somebody was just advising me about starting morning glories... A neighbor of hers who has great success with them each year starts the seed indoors, in window boxes (first she soaks the seed for 8 hours, I think). After hardening them off, she transplants them, being careful to scoop out as much potting mix as possible along with each seedling. She says they seem to bloom best in "poor" soil, so don't overdo with the amendments, and any old cheap potting soil works fine in the containers for starting.

Back on topic... I'm looking forward to pictures off all these terrariums under construction too! Has there been any word on the creation of a new terrarium forum?

Lorry I've always had it easy growing Morning Glories and them blooming in Florida. First year I planted them up close to home on deck in pots and tran-planted them. Well they get so many seeds they just started coming up themselves the next time. Now we just put them on top of the ground cover not more than 1/4 I don't even soak them anymore and they grow like Jack in the Beanstalks. lol
