i bought a dogwood tree last year. its a small one about 4-5ft tall. has plenty of leaves but just isnt blooming. i see all the dogwoods around town blooming small and large but mine isnt.
what do i do to help it bloom?? or is it just too small yet??
it gets plenty of sun plus shade. i planted it next to a pine tree so it would get shade.
thanks Marie
dog wood tree question
Could you have bought the Kousa Dogwood which blooms later?
Hi Marie,
It could take seven years or so before a newly planted dogwood produces flowers. Plenty of leaves = happy tree.
