My daughter Carrie is in school to be a Vet Tech. She is so loving and caring, and there was a kitten that needed a home. She was all white and also deaf. Well, my oldest daughter Jeanna has a white kitty...his name is Cody and my grandcat. I have posted pictures of him before. Jeanna has adopted this new kitten several months ago, named her Cassie and she was to come home next week after being spayed and all the schooling is done.
Well, today Cassie is to be spayed and they did a blood work up before hand. The liver enzymes came back 90 points higher than is a high normal. Carrie is very worried and said it does not look good. We are waiting for a call from the Professor to tell us what is going on.
Please say a prayer for this little kitten and for my daughter Jeanna. She is so attached to Cassie already and has been driving an hour up to the school every week to visit and get to know her. She is not in a position to afford high vet bills by taking on a special needs kitty, which I know she will do anyway....but Carrie said if it is a disease they think it is, she may not live long. She said the kitty has started developing lesions on her body also, and they are negative for fungus/ringworm and all of that. They are afraid it is related to the liver.
I will try and keep you posted soon as I hear anything.
Thank you,
Debbie
