Hi. I am doing some research for a college Horticulture research project. I am trying to find a source for translating the common names of Japanese morning glories into English. Do any of you know of a good source? Thanks.

Morning Glory Research Project
There is a link on here that translated some last year
cant remember who did it ?
Here is the link to the thread

The common names of some of the JMG's as used by asagao enthusiasts in Japan are no always an exact literal translation of the Japanese alphabet characters...e.g.,"Seiryu" is Blue Dragon...
The PlantFiles database also has some well intentioned translations, but all translations and spellings are not always accurate...
You can also post the Japanese names of the types that you are going to be presenting in this thread for some additional feedback from the members...
Good Luck in 'your' project...

Thanks! It's not my project officially, though. I'm just helping my professor with some of the internet research while I'm on spring break. I did find a few names already and I'm still looking. He gave me a huge list of seeds to look for also.
