The variegation is great on 'Rob's Argyle Socks.' The tan is so novel.
Unfortunately, I have to inform you that the pictures of last spring's violets are not good. Many of the plants were beginning to show mite damage. I wouldn't discover it for some time, and when I did, it was a mess and a pain. I still grow those varieties, havings preserved them as leaves and such.
Plants don't rot on me anymore since I started using a lighter soilless mix, much more perlite. Sometimes leaves put down might rot if they were harvested too old.
It seems to me that the wasps truly don't like it cool. Other violets bloom a bit better, darker colours, but the wasps I have slowed down immensely when it got cold.
Hopefully, I've improved conditions. Things are still no where near perfect, but I'm working on it.

Just Checking in; Photos.
Thats good to hear Kenton you have grown a lot og beautiful plants ! Someday I'd love to have a fish tank like yours with blooming plants on top :))
If I could afford to send it to you, I would.
Oh your sweet I know their heavy. Are you not using your's anymore ?
I wonder if it could be used for a terrarium in the tank and put a grid on top and put blooming African violets and light above. Oh that's probaly silly heh ? lol
I've thought about that, but I think I will opt for just shelves on shelves of violets. I look on the old days of terrariums kindly, but I don't think I want to do it all again. I bet someone in town could use a 55gallon.
Oh gosh yes ! someone would love your tank, with all the beautiful Terrariums created on the Terrarium forum and people on this forum also! So much talent and beauty !
It's just a pretty dream something I won't ever do either but I can look at others pretty pictures :))
